Lorna originally worked this tiny piece, roughly 7 cm or 3″ square, for a workshop, in order to teach raised or 3-dimensional stitches to beginners.  The kit includes the design printed onto linen/cotton blend fabric, muslin/calico for backing, threads, needles, full set of instructions and color photograph. Perle No. 12 threads and stranded cotton have been used.

The design can be framed or alternatively embroidered onto a tea towel, shirt pocket or linen, etc.  Bullion stitch or even multiple lazy daisies can be substituted if you do not wish to embroider drizzle stitch.

All of my designer kits come beautifully packaged in study carrier bags making them suitable for gifts.
